Sandra Bryant

Founder, President & CEO

Sandra Bryant is KCC’s founder, President, and CEO. Sandra’s role is an extension of her decades-long demonstration of leadership, commitment, and service in the greater Hays County community. Her multi-layered experiences and relationships with our community’s children, parents, taxpayers, businesses, civic organizations, and elected officials provide unique insights and perspectives that guide the organization and its mission.


Sandra lives in Buda, Texas with her husband, Ray Bryant (current Buda City Councilman and former Kyle City Councilman) where they attend Vercal Chapel and seek out every opportunity to be present in the community. On any given day, Sandra (and Ray) can be found cheering on one of Hays’ many school sports teams, supporting local businesses, or volunteering their time. Below is a snapshot of Sandra’s education, experiences, and accomplishments.

• Master of Science (M.S.) in Human Service Counseling - Liberty University
• Bachelor of Arts (B.A) in Criminal Justice - Texas State University
• Associate degree in Law Enforcement - Austin Community College
• Certification - Adult Mental Health First Aid USA

• Hays County Justice of the Peace, Pct. 5 (first elected African-American judge in Hays County)
• Hays CISD School Board Trustee and Board Officer (first elected African-American Trustee)
• Organizer and Chair, Buda Black History Month Community Celebration
• Veteran, United States Army & Reserves
